Audio available for B1 version

Once upon a time, in the vast and shimmering ocean, a Thunny, a kind of fish, found itself being chased by a Dolphin. The Thunny was very scared and started to swim towards the shore, where the water wasn't too deep.

The Dolphin, determined to catch the Thunny, followed him into the shallow water. But the Thunny was clever. Seeing the Dolphin was still chasing him, the Thunny swam even closer to the beach, where the waves were strong and the water was much shallower.

Suddenly, a large wave lifted the Thunny and threw him onto the sandy beach. The Thunny found himself out of the water, unable to swim back to the ocean.

The Dolphin, too eager and moving too fast, couldn't stop in time. He also ended up on the beach, out of the water and stranded just like the Thunny.

Seeing this, the Thunny looked at the Dolphin, who was now in the same difficult situation as him. The Thunny then said, "Even though I'm in trouble, I feel a little better knowing that the one who wanted to harm me is also in trouble."

Once upon a splish-splash time, in the bubbly world of ocean waves, a Thunny – you know, a kind of fish – was doing the "swim for your life" dance, chased by a Dolphin. The Thunny was very scared but had the thought, "I'm not sushi yet!"

The Dolphin, determined and maybe a bit overconfident, was after the Thunny like a cat after a laser pointer. "Wait up, Thunny! I just want to have lunch... with you!" he called, a wicked grin on his face.

The Thunny, a clever fish with a knack for fancy maneuvers, swam towards the shore, where the water was ankle-deep for a human, or maybe tail-deep for a fish. Either way, it was shallow.

The Dolphin, still on the chase, followed him into the kiddie pool zone of the sea, thinking, "Easy-peasy lemon-squeezy!" But oh no, the Thunny had other ideas!

He swam even closer to the beach, where the waves were doing a wild dance and the water was much shallower. You could say the Thunny had a trick up his fin.

All of a sudden, a wave, bigger than a giant's sneeze, lifted the Thunny and gave him a free ticket to the sandy beach. The Thunny landed with a flip, a flop, and a funny face. "Oof! I've never had such a dry experience!" he gasped.

The Dolphin, moving like a speedboat without brakes, couldn't stop in time. He ended up on the beach, too, flapping about like a fish out of water, which he technically was. "Oops! Missed the stop sign," he said, looking rather embarrassed.

Seeing this, the Thunny looked at the Dolphin, who was now in the same beachy predicament, and said, "You know, I may be high and dry, but I feel a wee bit better knowing you're not making waves, either. We can call it a draw or perhaps a beach party?"

The two of them chuckled, the irony not lost on them, and the sun set, leaving the once-chasing pair to contemplate the value of slowing down and thinking things through. They were quite a pair, those two – one a jester of the sea, the other a fish who wouldn't be caught. Together, they were a lesson wrapped in a splash of laughter, all washed up on the shore.

Beyond the sunlit waves and gleaming sand's reach,
Dwelled a Thunny fish, with lessons to teach.
Chased by a Dolphin, swift and so bold,
The Thunny sought safety, a plan yet untold.

To the shallows he darted, the water grew thin,
Hoping the Dolphin would give up and not win.
Yet, Dolphin was stubborn, with hunger and pride,
Into the shallows, he continued to slide.

Strong waves did crash and the coast drew near,
Thunny's heart raced, overtaken by fear.
A wave, like a giant, took Thunny for a ride,
Landing him safely on the beach's dry side.

But Dolphin, too hasty, met a similar fate,
Stranded on the sand, it was now too late.
There they both lay, under the sun’s hot hug,
Two fish out of water, snug as a bug.

Thunny then chuckled, his voice soft and free,
“We both are now stuck, as stuck as can be.”
Though I'm in a bind, it brings comfort, you see,
The one who chased me, is stranded like me.”
