Once upon a time, the Weasels and the Mice were always fighting. The Weasels always won, and they would take some Mice for their dinner. The Mice were tired of losing all the time, so they had a big meeting.

At the meeting, they decided they needed leaders to help them. They chose the smartest and bravest Mice as their generals and commanders. To show they were leaders, these Mice wore fancy feathers and straw on their heads.

After a long time of learning and practicing how to fight better, they challenged the Weasels to another fight. The Weasels, always ready for a fight and a meal, quickly agreed and charged at the Mice.

But once the battle started, the Mice started running away. The regular Mice, without fancy feathers and straw on their heads, escaped into their tiny holes. However, the leaders with the fancy head-dresses couldn't fit through. They got stuck, and the hungry Weasels ate them.

The Mice leaders had thought they were important because of their fancy head-dresses, but it was those very head-dresses that stopped them from escaping. In the end, it's not about looking fancy or important, but about making wise choices.

Once upon a time, in a far-away place where birds were the only ones tweeting and running fast was the coolest thing ever, Weasels and Mice just couldn't get along. The Weasels would always say, "Hey, little Mouse, you look like a tasty snack!"

And the Mice? They'd shout back, "No way, we're just here playing and eating cheese!"

But, uh-oh, the Weasels kept winning and eating some Mice as their dinner. Yikes!

One day, the Mice had a big meeting in their secret hideout. "Guys, we keep losing! We gotta do something!"

"Yeah, yeah! How 'bout we get some big, strong Mice to be our leaders?" said one Mouse.

"Ooh, I know! Let’s dress 'em up super cool with feathers and straw, like they're going to a costume party!"

And that’s what they did. They picked the smartest and toughest Mice, and put fancy feathers and straw on their heads. "Look at us! We're like mouse superheroes!"

Then they practiced really, really hard. They did tiny push-ups, ran super-fast races, and even lifted tiny pieces of cheese to get strong. "We're ready!"

Feeling brave, they told the Weasels, "Hey, wanna fight again?"

The Weasels laughed. "You bet! We’re always up for some fun!"

So, all the animals ran into the clearing, like it was the biggest race ever! But then the Mice thought, "Uh-oh, this isn't a fun game!"

The plain Mice, the ones without the fancy stuff, zoomed into their holes like race cars. Vroom! But the leaders? They were like, "Hey, my head’s too big for this hole!"

Yep, they got super stuck. Like, "Help, I can't move!" kind of stuck.

The Weasels laughed and said, "Wow, dinner and a funny show? This is the best day ever!"

And that’s when the fancy-looking Mice learned that looking cool isn’t as good as being smart. Sometimes, the fanciest hat in the world can’t help you when you really need it.

Mice and Weasels, oh what a feud,
Fighting and chasing, in a mood.
Weasels kept winning, Mice had enough,
Gathering 'round, they discussed their stuff.

"Let's choose our leaders, brave and smart,
With straw hats and feathers, set apart!"
So there they stood, all proud and tall,
Ready to lead, to give their all.

Training for weeks, in fighting arts,
Mice felt ready, full of smarts.
"We challenge you, Weasels, to a game,
This time, it won't end the same!"

Weasels grinned, eyes all aglow,
"Alright, Mice, let's start the show!"
But when the battle horns did blare,
Mice turned tails, ran here and there.

Quick little Mice, simple and plain,
Scurried to holes, dodging all pain.
But leaders in hats, oh what a sight,
Their fancy headgear was just too tight!

They couldn't fit, oh what a snag,
While Weasels feasted, not a single lag.
Fancy hats looked cool, it's true,
But in the end, what did they do?

Being fancy didn't make them wise,
It was their downfall, their own demise.
It's not the hats or the feather's gleam,
But wise choices that make a team.
