Audio available for B1 version

Once upon a time in a dense forest, there lived four friends – a deer, a turtle, a crow, and a rat. They were close and always helped each other in times of need.

One day, a hunter approached their area and set up a trap to catch the deer. Unaware of the danger, the deer got caught in the trap. The other friends decided to help him.

They devised a plan to free the deer. The rat was sent to gnaw at the trap's ropes, while the crow watched the hunter's movements from the sky. The turtle positioned himself on the hunter's path.

The hunter, seeing the turtle, dropped his weapons to grab it. Simultaneously, the rat freed the deer, who quickly ran to safety. The crow alerted the turtle, who retreated into his shell.

The hunter, distracted by the escaping deer, tried to pick up the turtle, who snapped at him with his sharp beak. The surprised hunter dropped the turtle, who then scurried away.

The friends reunited and celebrated their victory, grateful for their teamwork and bond that saved them from the hunter.

Once upon a time, in a big, green forest, there lived four best friends: a kind deer, a slow turtle, a smart crow, and a small rat. They were very close and always helped each other. One sunny day, a hunter came into the forest to catch the deer. He set a trap when no one was looking.

Sadly, the deer walked into the trap and couldn't get out. The deer was very scared, but his friends were nearby. The three friends saw what happened and quickly made a plan to save him. Each friend had a special job.

The rat acted quickly. He ran to the trap and started biting the ropes with his sharp teeth. At the same time, the crow flew high into the sky. His job was to watch the hunter and warn the others if he was coming back. The turtle moved slowly toward the path where the hunter might return, ready to block him.

The hunter saw the turtle and thought he would be easy to catch. He dropped his weapons and chased the turtle instead. This gave the rat enough time to chew through the ropes and free the deer. The deer jumped out of the trap and ran deep into the forest to hide.

The crow saw the hunter trying to catch the turtle and cawed loudly to warn him. The turtle quickly pulled into his shell just as the hunter tried to pick him up. The hunter was surprised by the turtle's hard shell. At the same time, the turtle bit the hunter's hand, causing him pain. Shocked, the hunter dropped the turtle, who quickly crawled away.

After the hunter gave up and left the forest, the four friends came back together. They were very happy and thankful that everyone was safe. They thanked each other for their courage and teamwork and promised to always help each other.

In a forest filled with more giggles than thorns, four best buddies hung out: a deer, a turtle, a crow, and a rat. They were like the ultimate team of forest superheroes but without the fancy capes.

One sunny morning, a hunter with a hat two sizes too big crept into their neck of the woods. He thought he was pretty sneaky with his deer trap. The deer, being a bit too adventurous, found himself caught in the trap. "Oh, deer," he thought, quite literally.

The other friends, not one to let their pal stay stuck, quickly gathered for a huddle. "Think, think, think!" said the rat, tapping his little noggin.

A plan was hatched! The rat, who loved a good rope-chewing challenge, was sent to nibble the trap. Up in the sky, the crow kept an eye on the hunter, cawing reports like a news anchor. The turtle, never one to hurry, plopped down right on the hunter's path, ready to be the ultimate distraction.

The hunter, spying the turtle, grinned like a cat who found the cream. "Well, hello there, little fellow!" he said, dropping his weapons.

Just in time, the rat's teeth made the final snip, freeing the deer, who leaped to safety, giving a happy hoof wave.

The crow squawked, "Turtle, he's coming! Shell mode, activate!" And into his shell, the turtle went.

The hunter tried to grab the turtle but was met with a quick snap of the beak. "Yowza!" he yelped, letting go.

With a wink, the turtle slowly made his exit, saying, "Try the salad bar next time!"

The friends all gathered, hugged, and laughed. They danced around, sang silly songs, and thanked their lucky stars for each other's cleverness and the bond that had saved them from a hunter with questionable fashion choices.

And from that day forward, they stuck to playing hide-and-seek, always letting the deer count first, of course.

They all lived happily, playfully, and a little bit cheekily ever after.

Within the shadows of a wood so grand,
Four friends united, best in all the land,
A deer, a turtle, crow, and a small rat,
Together strong, no matter where they sat.

A hunter, cruel and hungry for his prey,
Approached their home one bright and fateful day,
A trap he set with eyes so cold and keen,
To catch the deer, who knew not where he'd been.

But friends who care will never leave your side,
They hatched a plan, with brains and brawn applied,
The rat would gnaw the ropes with tiny bite,
The crow would watch the hunter from his flight.

The turtle slow would take a daring role,
He'd lie upon the hunter's very stroll,
The hunter's eyes did gleam and weapons fall,
To grab the turtle, not his prize at all.

The rat then freed the deer with nimble nose,
Who sprinted off as fast as the wind blows,
The crow called out, the turtle hid his face,
The hunter, shocked, lost in a wild chase.

He tried to snatch the turtle, snap went the beak,
The hunter yelped, his future looking bleak,
The turtle scurried, friends were safe once more,
They danced and laughed like never once before.

They hugged and cheered, each friend so glad and true,
For nothing could their mighty bond undo,
In wood so grand, in shadows long and sweet,
Four friends remained, a team that none could beat.
