Once upon a time, a group of flies found a honey pot in a village shop. The sweet smell was so inviting that they couldn't resist. They went closer and tasted the honey. It was so delicious that they started eating more and more.
As they ate, they didn't notice that their feet and wings were getting covered in honey. They were so busy enjoying the taste that they didn't realize they were getting stuck. The honey was very sticky and it held their feet and wings firmly.
Soon, they couldn't move freely. Their wings were too heavy to fly. The more they tried to escape, the more they got stuck. They were trapped.
The flies were scared. They wished they had not been so greedy and had not let their desire for honey get them into trouble. But it was too late, and they were now trapped in the pot, unable to fly away.

Once upon a time, in a charming little village shop that you'd never find without a treasure map, a group of flies—let's call them the Buzzington Crew—discovered a pot of honey. "Wowza, friends! Do you smell that?" said the first fly, twirling his tiny mustache.
"Smell it? I feel like I've buzzed into Candyland!" chimed in the second fly, doing a tiny aerial flip of excitement.
The third fly joined in, "Oh, this smell is like a giant hug for my nose! Can you imagine actually tasting it?"
They zoomed closer to investigate. "Well, don't just hover there, dig in! Winner gets ultimate bragging rights!" announced the first fly.
"It's so good, it's like fairy-tale-level yumminess! Even a wizard would want this in his potion," said the second fly, as they all started gobbling up the golden goo.
As they munched—or whatever it is that flies do when eating—they failed to notice that their tiny feet and delicate wings were becoming coated in honey. "Hey, guys, is it just me or is flying suddenly as hard as pulling a wagon full of rocks?" asked the third fly.
"It feels like we're stuck in quicksand. Yummy, but not-so-yummy quicksand," said the first fly, attempting to lift off but failing miserably.
The second fly flapped his wings harder. "Uh-oh, we're in a sticky situation here, folks. I've always wanted to say that!"
All of them tried to escape, but the more they attempted to fly, the more stuck they became. Their wings were as heavy as if they'd been dipped in cement, and their feet felt like they had glue on them.
The first fly let out a sigh, "Well, this is it. We're stuck in the honey sequel none of us wanted. Greed Level: Expert!"
The second fly added, "I wish I'd taken just a tiny sip and buzzed off. Now, we're going to be like statues for future fly generations to ponder!"
The third fly, ever the optimist, tried one last time to break free. "You know, there's a lesson in every mess-up!"
"Yeah," said the first fly, "like don't feast if you still want to fly. Now, we're grounded for good."
They all sighed in unison, regretting their poor choices. Trapped in that honey pot, the Buzzington Crew could only reminisce about the blue skies they used to zip through freely.
And there they stayed, stuck and regretful, longing for a time machine that would give them a "do-over." But alas, life doesn't come with a "rewind" button.
Once, some flies did spy
A pot of honey, oh my, oh my!
The aroma was a dream,
They zoomed right to that golden stream.
They tasted one drop, then two, then four,
Till they couldn’t help but want some more.
With every bite, their joy did swell,
Lost in the honey's sugary spell.
But oh, what's this? Their wings grew thick,
Covered in honey, it was quite the trick!
Their feet, they stuck, their wings did too,
"We can’t break free, oh what do we do?"
They struggled hard to fly away,
But the honey held them tight, no way!
Trapped and scared, they now could see,
The cost of their sweet gluttony.
"We should've stopped," the flies did groan,
"Our greedy ways have now been shown."
But it was late for such regret,
In the honey pot, their fate was set.
