The Young Goat and the Wolf as Musician
Text Version

Once upon a time, a young goat lived in the deep forest. One day, while the goat was eating green leaves away from its family, a hungry wolf came out from the bushes. The goat was scared because it knew the wolf wanted to eat it.

Thinking quickly, the goat said, "Before you eat me, Mr. Wolf, can you play a song on your flute? I have always wanted to dance to some music."

The wolf was surprised but happy with this idea. "What a good show before my meal," he thought. He took out his flute and started to play.

As the wolf played, the goat began to jump and dance. The happy music spread through the forest and reached the ears of some nearby dogs. Curious, they followed the sound of the flute until they found the wolf.

When the dogs saw the wolf, they started barking and ran after him. The wolf got scared and ran away quickly, leaving the goat safe.

Feeling grateful, the smart goat went back to its family, safe and sound. Even though it was in danger, the goat was clever and saved itself from the wolf.
